Avrilson Mengndem Nkwenti, mononymously known as Avrilson is a Cameroonian Evangelist who is inspired to use music as a tool for effective evangelism and reach out to millions of listeners around the world.

He is well-known for using Pidgin, English and French languages on Afropop, RnB and hip-hop beats, which he communicates the Christian faith and draws the attention of lovers of these genres of music to Jesus Christ.

Avrilson accepted the call to use his music talent for preaching the gospel in 2016. Since then, he has put his artistry to work by writing and composing dozens of songs that center on Jesus Christ, so that many of his listeners may believe in Him and receive eternal life (John 3:16).

In August 2017, he completed a discipleship training program that was organized by the School Of Christ (SOC) international in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The training increased his love for missions and he founded Avrilson Ministries in October 2017.

Avrilson had his basic education up to university in Cameroon.

He was born Solomon Orock Nkwenti on April 16, 1976 in the South West region of Cameroon, but had a revelation on April 16, 2003 about changing his name to Avrilson Mengndem Nkwenti, which he did due to spiritual reasons.

He hails from Baleveng in Menoa Division in the West region of Cameroon.

He understands and speaks Yemba (Dschang), Pidgin, English, and French languages.

He is married with one child, but due to some marriage problems, his wife separated from him few years later in acrimony.

Aside creating meaningful gospel music and sharing the love of Christ with the poor and needy, Avrilson does graphic designs and artistic paintings. He also makes out time to manage his farms in a small town in Cameroon called Santa where he has invested heavily in Agribusiness.

He is the president of Young Agricultural Development (Y.A.D) Cameroon, an NGO that assists farmers in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon to boost food security in areas that were affected by the Anglophone crisis.
